I’ve had good haircuts and bad haircuts.  I’ve mostly had mediocre haircuts because I never pay more than $20.  The bad ones usually aren’t terrible, just not good.  Friends  have told me horror stories about haircuts¹, but I had never had such an experience until Saturday.

Blockbuster is like a magical wonderland for the kind of people who have terrible body odor; the people who sit in their dark, dank house for hours on end, playing games and watching movies.

Shannon Larratt, the creator of BMEzine.com¹ wrote a great article called “Does God Hate Your Tattoos?” several years ago.  I visit BME often, and I read this article before I decided to get a tattoo.  Shannon is not a Christian himself, but he did a little research and presented a few findings that are worth thinking about:

Marriage is a magnificent union between two loving individuals in the sight of God; a beautiful amalgamation of two souls; a divine expression of grace.  There are many reasons why people choose to take a partner in matrimony.  Most married (or engaged) people will tell you that they are in love, or that they have found a soul-mate.  But when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, Mel and I simply cannot live without each other.

I am hesitant.  But here I am, so I guess I am not obstinate enough to resist the constant pressure that I have faced lately at the hands of my BFF’s¹.  Now that I have knuckled under, I have to figure out what my purpose is here.  I have set a few guidelines for myself.  They are all pretty common among my friends’ blogs, but I am not attempting innovation.
